Afghanistan

Between 2012 and 2013, I was sent to Afghanistan to capture the ongoing stability operations in the country. Over a period of nine months, I created an award-winning portfolio that included an 18-minute documentary. However, due to the Afghanistan withdrawal, the Department of Defense removed several of my published photos, videos, and stories. While some of them are still available online, I have chosen to only showcase Afghan citizens and landscapes to protect the safety and livelihood of those portrayed.
